Even if it’s the same price as a Black Friday deal, you’re guaranteed your order on Amazon, whereas many Black Friday deals only have a few of the item available. So here’s our list so far – all of these items are the same price or LESS than you will find them on sale for on Black Friday. You don’t have to fight crowds, and this stuff will be shipped to your door! We will continue to add items as we find new deals.

But the problem with price matching is that you have to go into the store with details in hand to get that price. If I can get the price already at Amazon (or elsewhere) and not pay shipping or low shipping I save myself the time, headache and gas of not having to do that.

No ALL CA has to pay sales tax on every online purchase no matter it comes from. NEW LAW ARE GREAT GOVERNER PUT IN TO PLACE. I was sad zappos charges me sales tax now. It sucks

Not anymore. Amazon collects tax on all CA orders now.

That is because in order for Amazon to put a fulfillment center in CA the state of CA required Amazon to start collecting tax. However, while there may be a short term trade off to the customer it will on the near and long term better serve the customers who order from CA because it will mean cheaper prices in the long run because transportation costs will go down when the order center is closer to the customer. So it may not save the tax for some customers where Amazon is required to collect tax but with the increase in the network of Amazon fulfillment centers closer to the customer it will drive prices down because overall transportation costs will go down to deliver packages.

Best Buy also price matches Amazon and they’ll look it up on their store computer for you. Doesn’t avoid the sales tax but still might be the better option in some situations.

The biggest reason I’d want to price match/Target or Best Buy because I live 1 block from both of them… easy returns if needed!

The problem is that black Friday the product is not always there. Limited invetory plus crowds and no guarenty. Nope I’ll stick to Amazon this year.
