I love finding school supply deals online, it’s not all that common – but not leaving the house is totally worth hunting them down!

We are discussing these pencils and other brands on Facebook, turns out many schools are requesting this brand specifically because others break often and do not sharpen well.  Good to know!

I looked on the Amazon reviews of the Ticonderoga #2 pencil, and it seems that they are now considered an inferior product by many who have purchased this item.

    Thanks,
    Debbie

Ticonderoga is the only pencil I will use. I got them about two years ago when my psychology professor suggested we use a good eraser for our scan-trons.. I decided if there were “good” eraser there must be “good” pencils as well. I was sick of braking lead and uneven sharpening. These pencils are great for testing.. they hold up well and the eraser works fine for scan-trons. I do however like the lead to be sharp at all times.. so I started using a mechanical pencil “Pentel Champ Mechanical Pencil, 0.70mm ” I really like them the best as far as mechanical pencils go. I do a lot of writing.. the lead writes very smooth and hardly breaks.. the eraser is decent. I could use it for tests.. but the scan-trons are very picky about eraser marks and I don’t ever chance it.
