Albertsons NEW Coupon Policy allows for coupon overage and BOGO = 2 FREE!

Albertsons

Well this isn’t your typical “Coupon Policy Change” instead it’s one that we can be happy about!  Albertsons has released their official coupon policy and it’s effective starting today, 12/17/11. This coupon policy applies to Albertsons stores in ID, OR, WA, MT, UT, WY, and Elko NV.  We are now allowed to apply the overage from one to coupon to the rest of our shopping trip.  Basically this means that if your coupon is worth more than the product you’re purchase you’ll get to apply that difference to the rest of your order.

Changing to: Allowing Overage for Coupons:

“Manufacturer coupons that exceed the retail value of an item will have the remaining amount applied to the balance of the transaction. In the event the transaction balance results in a “credit”, additional items WILL be added/suggested to the order to utilize the remaining value of the coupon. Albertsons does not provide “cash back” on coupons, but provides full redemption value.

Another great change to the coupon policy is the BOGO Sale plus BOGO Coupon = 2 FREE Products.  You can find the actual verbiage for the BOGO coupon policy here.

If that wasn’t enough good news, we will be getting Twice the Value Coupons on Sunday 12/18-12/20.

I wish there was a “dislike” button for Albertsons. I just do not like that store.

ALL stores should do this as they get reimbursed for the full coupon value….

Yay, that is good news. I hope other stores follow suit.

Not the Southern State Albertsons. We’re Albertson’s LLC and we can not use a coupon on an item for anything more than it sells for. So if the coupon is 3 dollars off and the item is a dollar we have to type in the coupon amt for 1.

No overages allowed either.

Does this new coupon policy apply to all Albertsons? If not, can we get a copy of the coupon policy from the actual Albertsons that I shop at?

Where in the world is the coupon policy on the Albertsons website??? I cannot find it for the love of me. It made me log in first and now I haven’t found the right spot to find the policy. Any help would be appreciated, I’m going nuts. (short trip)
