I’m sure you all have seen the movie by now, but I rarely watch movies and when I do I fall asleep. I think it goes back to my childhood, sleeping on the floor with the tv on night after night. On that note, those of you with kids who are doing things so differently than your parents did…don’t you ever just wish your kids realized how much better they have it? I guess the fact is that this is their reality and that was ours. Not sure where that came from, but back to my sappy post.
I just watched Julie & Julia and I’m left challenged and inspired but I also have a heavy heart. First I want to spend more time in the kitchen I absolutely love to cook, but the thought of setting another goal to accomplish such as Julie did is insane and not for me right now. My heavy heart comes in the ways that I related to Julie, it’s so easy to let your work or blog take over until you find yourself crying like a child on the floor (I’ve never done this but I’ve been close!) So I’m left contemplative, I want The Frugal Find to always be a blog that serves it’s readers. I want The Frugal Find to help your family individually in a unique way. I believe God has given me this gift at just the right time in my life to share it with others who need it right now more than ever, my family included. I hope I’m accomplishing this, so if I were to set a goal…it would be to remain true to why I started The Frugal Find and never forget it.
With all that said, I love The Frugal Find and my little space here on the good ‘ole internet. I love my readers. But this post really is for my husband. He is so incredibly supportive, patient, encouraging, and loving. When it comes to the many hats I wear, he is always behind me in everything I do willing to help in anyway he can. I am so blessed. So J, I love you with all my heart thank you for being YOU!

Aww.. this is so sweet. I want to watch the movie now. You are so loved by the readers of TFF… and you are helping and inspiring all of us. I’m glad your husband supports you in all that you do… your family is beautiful. Thank YOU for being you, too, Julia!
Thank you so much for all that you do and all that you are Julia. You and your husband are such inspirations for me and my family. Watching how you step out in faith inspires me to do the same. I see how God is blessing your lives and in return, you bless others. That is what God wants from HIS children, Faith and Obedience. I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas and I can’t wait to see what God has in store for you in the New Year!!
The hardwork you put into this blog does not go unnoticed. We really do appreciate all the work that you put into this blog and you are making a difference. Happy Holidays!
Oh I related to that part of the movie and I adored it as well. Look how far you’ve come this year my friend – I still remember the early days of us getting our blogs up and running. The excitement of the readership, the feedback, the number watching – but most importantly the community that is built, the friendships that blossom from simply writing in one’s internet corner.
Happiest holidays to you my dear friend. I hope 2010 brings you and your family many blessings and lots of love.
xoxo
Love you too honey!
