I found in my coupons a $2.50 off 2 CoverGirl products, so I used this with the BOGO coupon and it made it for a moneymaker.
I live in Nor Cal and didn’t get a coupon in my email or spam folder. Boo Hoo. I did get a CVS email, but it for CVS.com and their online president’s day sale. Did I miss something?
I go to CVS on the peninsula (bay area) and am very frustrated with my local store. Every time I go at least a couple items ring up w/ the wrong price. Last week, the Corn Flakes 2/$3 rang up at $4.29 each. Today the Colgate and Aussie shampoo did not come up on sale (nor were they marked on sale in the aisle). A manager had to be called – I had to show the ad and practically fight to get the sale price (fortunately I purchased stuff that looked exactly like the picture), then they had to do a price adjust and manually do the ECBs. For just these two items today, it took me 15+ minutes to check out.
And this happens with a few items every single week. I’m just wondering if anyone else has this problem with CVS? Or if it’s just my store?
I love the deals at CVS, but at this point I don’t think it’s worth the time or frustration to continue shopping there.
I’m also trying to find a complaint line/forum to see about getting this corrected at my local store.
Wow, how frustrating! I have such an opposite experience at CVS. Mine is full of super friendly people that are eager to help. While their prices have always been accurate, I’m certain if they were not, the staff would be happy to correct the problem. The biggest issue I have is that my CVS never seems to have stock of the sale items. If I don’t go on Saturday to get the ad and work the deals that night and come in first thing Sunday – I usually have to get a rain check – YEP! even on the first ad day. So I will drive another mile to the larger CVS. They’re really nice there too.
Try a different store & file a complaint with corporate if you can.
