Good morning everyone!
I just wanted to highlight a few changes we’ve made recently to The Frugal Find. Also I want to note when I say “we” I mean Mr. Frugal and I. He has been very busy behind the scenes helping me by approvingcomments, answering emails, and overall doing the doing the techy stuff. If you’ve been around awhile, likely you know our story (if not you can read about it here and here) – God is still at work and He has been FAITHFULLY providing for our family for almost a year now. We feel so incredibly blessed. With that said, YOU have been an instrumental thread of the story. By coming daily to The Frugal Find, reading my blog, printing coupons, etc you are actively supporting my family and we couldn’t be more thankful. So to my readers – thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
You’ll see below this post we’ve added a couple of features.
1. The “Print Friendly” button. This is helpful for printing the weekly store deals so that when you’re out shopping you won’t forget which items are producing the Catalina’s and so on.
2. You’ll also notice the 4 cute little Social Media buttons peaking up right below each post. Those are there so you can easily share a post with your friends by Twitter, Facebook, StumbleUpon, and Email. Go ahead, give it a try!
3. We’ve also added some content to the very bottom of the page, right now there are some videos I’ve done in the past however that area is still a work in progress. What would you like to see there?
4. For those of you who aren’t as local as I’d like you to be (Can’t we just all have coffee together?!) I’m working with a very talented friend of mine on a DVD that will bring the Coupon Class experience TO YOU! We hope to have the DVD available in June sometime.
Now it’s your turn – I’d love to hear from you. What are some features, topics, ideas you have that you’d like to see implemented here on The Frugal Find? It can be anything, wild as your idea may seem someone else might be wishing for just the same thing. Leave acomment or Contact Me, we’d appreciate it.
Thanks everyone and have a blessed day!

Ohhhh a DVD?!?!? Awesome! I cannot wait!!!!
Yes a DVD, we are very excited too! I always hate to tell everyone that emails me about the class that they’re not “local enough” to attend. Now that won’t be an issue!
I just read your story….and my jaw is to the floor. I am touched by your leap of faith. The thing that stood out to me the most is how you are so quick to give…I saw that you offer coupon classes and if someone can’t afford the small fee, you are willing to waive it. For someone with a steady, comfortable income that seems really nice and giving. For someone who is waiting on the Lord for their income, it is truly amazing. Thank you for your story of faithfulness.
Jennifer I have to be completely clear – it has been HARD and we have been WEAK. But it’s near impossible for us not to continue walking in faith at this point now that we’ve seen what God has done. Time and time miraculously our needs have been met. His promises are clear, He will meet ALL of our needs. Not only that, this past year I’ve experienced much more than our needs being met, we’ve been blessed! Our Father loves His children and wants the best for us.
Thank you for reading The Frugal Find, it means so much more to our family that many will ever know.
I found your site late one night and truly felt drawn there and now I know why. In todays world what you have done sounds so difficult but with Faith you knew what you needed to do.
What a beautiful lesson for all of us. Thanks for blessing my days.
Barb I’m so glad you were led here! That’s a good point, we did know what we needed to do and the reality is we were too scared NOT to do it. Not so sure I can actually call it faith!
I love the new changes… easier to see on my smart phone too!
One thing I would love to see or know is possibly a list of what you usually pay for certain items. I know you’ve said you don’t pay more than 50 cents for a box of cereal. Many times I look at a sale and wonder if it’s a really good sale. Obviously the deals where it’s free is great, but on average, without amazing deals what do you pay for a pound of hamburger, a jar of pasta sauce, etc.
Brenda, that is a great idea. I’ve done this a few times, but I just can’t seem to get it the way I want it. I’ll put it back at the top of my priority list!
Thanks for all you do!! I love seeing your videos (especially your organized pantry). You are not only good at using your money wisely, but must be incredible manager of your time. Since they say that time is money, I’d love to hear any hints you have on how you get it all done in a day. Also you mentioned that your kids help you, my kids have been fascinated with my recent couponing & enjoy using math to see how good a deal they can get. I’d appreciate insights on how you include your kids (because I want to teach my kids to be good stewards of their money). Thanks, again.
Thanks a great discussion topic, have you read my post titled Couponing Shouldn’t Eat Away at your Day? It doesn’t go into how I have my kids help, but it does cover ways that I save time when it comes the coupons specifically. http://thefrugalfind.com/couponing-shouldnt-eat-away-at-your-day/
One thing that I would love to see on your site is your posts linked by tag words. Like if I search for “Target” a ton of posts come up even the ones not related to Target deals. It would be nice if your posts had tags below the heading to link back to a page of all similar posts (i.e. Target, freebies, giveaways, moneymakers, etc). It would be helpful for me anyway. Maybe even a header at the top of your blog (alongside home, about…..) for stores and have a link to all the stores you regularly post about that would take you to all posts about that store.
