There are 2 great deals going on right now:

1. 100 Day Sam’s Club Membership for only $15.00, save all summer long for just 15¢ a day!

Limited Time – Join between May 20th and June 7th

2.  One Day Pass - however you are charged a 10% service fee on your total purchase, so depending on how much you spend, if anything, you might just want to purchase the 100 Day pass.

Just PRINT THIS PAGE and take it into Sam’s Club with you.

Now, if you want my opinion…for what it’s worth, since I started couponing I haven’t stepped foot into Sam’s Club even once and only twice have I been into Costco.  Once to buy a bathing suit, great price on women’s speedo suits, and the second time was to return the second suit I bought.  I had to buy the suit in 2 different sizes since they don’t have a dressing room.  So, that’s been my experience.  Combining coupons with sales, so far I have beat out Costco’s prices by a long shot.  I used to spend SO much money there “stock piling” when now I stock pile for free!

I will probably still go into Costco when I need to have pictures printed, that is if I don’t have a coupon to use elsewhere!

If you’re a Walgreens shopper, chances are you have already found the special Clearance section in your local store.  Often it’s a gold mine!  Also chances are you’ll have a coupon for something in that section as well!  Today was no exception.  This is a post for mommy’s with babies:

On Clearance at Walgreens for $6.24

On Clearance at Walgreens for $6.24

Similac Advance Formula on clearance for $6.24 paired with the $2.00/1 coupon from Sunday’s 5/17 paper and you have a steal on formula!  There were several on the shelves at my store, hopefully you’ll find some too!  Thankfully this is an expense we passed over, only for a short couple of months with one of our children did we experience this HUGE budget item.  I hope if you’re in this phase of life, that you’ll be able to cash in on this deal.

CVS 101

by Julia on May 27, 2009
CVSMiscellaneous

CVS

CVS

Since I am VERY new to CVS, being that we are just now getting our very first taste here in Northern CA, it didn’t seem it fair/proper to generate my own CVS 101, so I am leaning on a VERY experienced CVS shopper and Frugal Blogger, Crystal @ The Money Saving Mom.

Here are the highlights I gathered from her blog:

1. Apply for a CVS Extra Care Card – Always have them scan yuor CVS card BEFORE they ring up your purchase, as there are some deals that you will only get with your CVS card.  ALSO, I noticed that if you scan your card on the “price checker” things throughout the store, often you are given extra coupons.  Just yesterday I got a $5/$25 coupon, so make sure to scan your card before you shop!

2. Earning ECBs –  There will be advertised items that you can earn ECBs on (Extra Care Bucks) for those of you who do Walgreens, these are just like the RR (Register Rewards).  They are good on your next purchase at CVS.

3.  Using coupons – You can use manufacturers coupons on an item that will generate ECBs so sometimes you can even “make money”.  She goes into more detail on her blog about this.  Even better you can use CVS coupons, Manufacturers Coupons, and ECB’s all together!

4. Look for the latest deals – There are weekly & monthly deals, so check your Sunday Ads often.

5. Check back here - at The Frugal Find as I begin to post my weekly CVS shopping lists!

Go HERE to register for your CVS Extra Care Card.

Go HERE to read Crystal’s very informative CVS 101 blog.

Choose from a selection of Disney movies at Target which includes:  Finding Nemo, Cars, Ratiquoille, WallE, The Incredibles  for $13.99ea and get a FREE voucher to see the new Disney movie UP (up to $7.50 value).   However this deal gets even sweeter, with THIS REBATE for $5.00 off ANY Disney movie AND any 2 Packs of Rayovac Batteries (pick these up in the dollar section).

Scenario 1 –  Buy WallE (just and example) for $13.99 + 2 Packs Rayovac = $15.99 – $5.00 MIR (Mail in Rebate) = $10.99 PLUS 1 Free ticket to the Disney movie UP (up to $7.50 value)!

Scenario 2  (NOT confirmed yet) I am almost positive I have seen Disney movies near the check out for $7.50ea (of course these are not the ones that will get you the free movie ticket for UP) but still a good deal with the MIR for $5.00.  Buy Disney movie for $7.50 + 2 Packs Rayovac = $9.50 – $5.00 MIR = $4.50

If anyone can confirm before I do that there are in fact Disney movies for $7.50, I’d appreciate it!

Thanks to Becca @ Cheaper By the Dozen for this great find!

5 Items for Less then $1.00!!

I happened to find the Kraft tear pad coupons for $2.00 off meat/poultry purchase when you buy any two kraft products.

I bought 2 kraft salad dressings on sale for $1.34ea used 2 $1.50/1 coupons from the 5/17 Sunday paper and then used the $2.00/meat coupon to buy some Jennio Turkey Bacon that was on sale for $2.00.   I had a bit of overage so I also bought the Athenos Feta Cheese on sale for $2.00 (and used the $1.00/1 coupon next to the cheese).  I also had a coupon for a FREEE California Pizza Kitchen Pizza from the Buy 3 Get 1 Free Catalina deal.

I ended up paying under $1.00 for all of it!

What’s that?  You wish you could find the tear pads too?  Stay tuned…a giveaway is in the making!  In the meantime, make sure you enter in the Free Peet’s Drink Giveaway.

Buy 2 Venus Embrace or Fusion Power razors @ $7.99ea and get $10.00 Target Gift Card.  There were $2.00/1 MC for both the Venus and Fusion razors in the Sunday paper (May sometime) if you still have them, but NOTE they expire 5/31 and that is what makes this a ONE DAY DEAL.

(2) @ 7.99 = $15.98 – (2) $2.00/1 Coupon = $11.98 GET $10.00 Target Gift Card = $1.98 for 2!

Even better if you have target gift cards left from previous deals, like the awesome Bertolli deal from last week.

Thanks to A Full Cup for this great tip.

Bring the goodness home with this coupon!  The Peet’s coupon is good for $2.00/(1) 12oz bag of Peet’s coffee in the grocery store.  Safeway has them on sale currently for $8.99, probably not the best deal out there, but not too bad for quality coffee.
